Introduction:
I am a well-seasoned executive recruiter, Contract Recruiter with a unique blend of technical, finance and executive skills. I have functioned on-site as well as off site for a number of firms performing talent acquisition in the data-com, biometric, financial, pharmaceutical and construction industries. Searches have encompassed CEO to Staff  talent. Categories include most disciplines, Accounting, Research, Engineering, Marketing/Sales, Product Management, and Field Support. I have effectively managed a recruiting team filling open positions and processing new hires. Familiar with multiple means of locating and recruiting candidates including online and print ads, resume databases, network sites (Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook and related social sites) internet searching techniques including Myspace, Google Search, LinkedIn, cold calling, employee and outside referrals, career fairs, direct mailings and software crawlers.  Developed various reports/metrics for executives measuring; recruiting status, corporate headcount, organizational charts, temporary staffing costs, relocation costs and travel programs.  Eliminated redundancies to improve efficiency and streamline processes at every position held.  One of my best attributes is the ability to locate talent at the same level of effectiveness as outside retained or contingent source. In every on-site assignment thus far, I have satisfied the recruiting demands without the use or limited use of outside recruiters or search firms.

The following history is a synopsis of my onsite and offsite assignments, including duration and a brief summary of the talent sourced.  

Current: Contract Recruiter; Offsite recruiting as a contingent service.  

1-2006 till 2-2008 onsite
Nabi Biopharmaceuticals, AKA Biotest 120mm dollar firm, on-site
Boca Raton, FL
Contract recruiter Assigned to all professional level positions as well as non-exempt. Acquired and placed an average of 10 professionals per month with very difficult to find talent. Nabi’s normal recruiting effort includes PhD’s, engineers, scientists, accountants, IS, legal, and manufacturing. This was a 750 employee firm engaged in multiple locations and businesses. The business model consists of regional Plasma Centers, Research and pilot manufacturing in Rockville, MD and operations, accounting, full manufacturing, IS, marketing and sales in Boca Raton, FL.  

2001 to 2005 Offsite recruiting:
Contract Recruiter
Solved critical staffing shortfalls. Built solid relationships and customer confidence by consistently identifying and creatively resolving staffing issues. Supported several capture efforts for rapid turnaround recruiting. I have applied expert networking skills to satisfy the most demanding assignments. Helped to develop business processes and techniques in the recruiting space, essential to meeting rapid recruiting growth and objectives. Demonstrate leadership by maintaining close contact with candidates throughout the hiring process. Demonstrate “high touch” concepts through open and continual communication with candidates. Conduct innovative interviewing techniques to introduce candidates to the client’s culture and environment. Communicated closely with candidates to set expectations and provide continuous feedback throughout the process.  

1999 to 2001 Contract Recruiter, onsite
Casi-Rusco Inc, aka General Electric Security Systems,
Boca Raton, FL

Casi-Rusco was a 150mm dollar producer of  “card key” entry systems. Successfully located and placed in the 2.5 years associated with Casi over 150 new employees, of all persuasions.  

1997 to 1999 Contract Recruiter, onsite and concurrent.

Cyberguard, Inc concurrent with Concurrent Computers (ex Harris Computer)
Over 90 professionals including 8 VPs placed during this tenure. Harris Computers at this time was split into two new firms as listed. Recruited for both firms at the same time.   

1995 to 1997 Contract Recruiter, onsite
ECI Datacom Ft. Lauderdale, FL, producer of Data Communications hardware Contract recruiter
Over 170 professionals including engineers, within two years, were placed without the use of outside agents. Methods were in this era direct sourcing only. The use of Job Boards was in its infant stages.
